The constituency elects 3 deputies (Teachtaí Dála, commonly known as TDs). The method of election is the single transferable vote form of proportional representation (PR-STV). == History and boundaries == The constituency is located in the southern half of County Kerry, Ireland, taking in the Dingle and Iveragh peninsulas, including the towns of Killarney, Dingle, Cahirciveen, Killorglin and Kenmare.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.irishstatutebook.ie/2009/en/act/pub/0004/sched.html )〕 It was established by the Electoral (Revision of Constituencies) Act 1935 when the former Kerry constituency was divided into the constituencies of Kerry North and Kerry South.
